Monday, September 9, marked the first-ever National Hot Flash Day—the brainchild of actor and activist Naomi Watts. Watts is also the founder and chief creative officer of Stripes Beauty, a menopausal wellness brand, and she joined Midi’s Joanna Strober and GV general partner FrĂ©dĂ©rique Dame on the Forbes Power Women stage Wednesday to talk about the need for more public awareness about the symptoms of menopause, and the market opportunity that exists in this part of the women’s healthcare space.

Vice President Kamala Harris vaulted past former President Donald Trump to become bookmakers’ favorite to win the election on Tuesday night, after a strong showing in the first presidential debate. This is a major shift in favor of Harris, whose chances have risen by more than four and a half points in the 24 hours after the debate.

 Pop star Taylor Swift endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president Tuesday night, right as the VP’s debate with Trump concluded—ending months of speculation about whether she’d grant Harris her coveted endorsement. Swift signed the post, which featured an image of her and her cat, “Childless Cat Lady,” a tongue-in-cheek nod to a widely criticized term used by GOP vice presidential candidate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), to refer to progressive women.

Beyoncé had one of the biggest country hits this year with “Texas Hold ‘Em,” a cut from her eighth studio album Cowboy Carter—but she did not receive any nominations at the Country Music Association Awards on Monday morning. The snub is particularly noteworthy because earlier this year, BeyoncĂ© became the first Black woman in history to have a No. 1 country song (“Texas Hold ‘Em”) and a No. 1 country album (Cowboy Carter).
