Equities

Hong Kong shares hit two-month highs, U.S. equity futures rose as investors scrambled to keep up with sudden changes in U.S. trade policy.

Hang Seng up 2.5%, even though an additional 10% tariff was due to hit Chinese goods, with electric vehicle makers leading the charge.
Li Auto (2015.HK), was the top gainer in Hong Kong, with an 8% rise while shares in SMIC (0981.HK), rose more than 7% to a record high.
Chinese markets remain shut for the Lunar New Year break.

Forex

EUR $1.0125 before roaring back to $1.0320 inside 24 hours.
BTC which had sunk close to $91,000 a day earlier, traded around $102,000.
AUD at $0.6206 after sinking as low as $0.6088 on Monday.
JPY, seen as a safe haven, eased 0.3% to 155.18.

Commodities

Gold record highs on Monday as worries of a worldwide trade war pushed investors to safety, trading close to $2,813 on Tuesday.
