Equities

Nikkei dropped 1.2%, giving back most of Monday’s gains, as investors contemplated tariffs on exports, particularly automakers. Toyota slid 2%, Nissan tumbled 4%.

Hang Seng added 0.6%, China CSI 300 rose 0.2%, reversing earlier declines.

Forex

EUR slipped 0.4% to $1.0459. Sterling lost 0.34% to $1.2527.

USD down 0.1% to 154.04 yen , after initially strengthening following Trump’s tariff remarks.
Bitcoin rose 1% to $94,610.

Commodities

Gold succumbed to USD strength, dipping to 1-week low of $2,604.99.
Oil extended declines from the previous session with potential ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.
Brent fell 0.38% to $72.73, US crude at $68.62, down 0.46%.
